The Central Basketball Association, built with the objective of providing a platform for recent college graduates to obtain opportunities to play abroad, have sent another one of its players overseas. A'Darius Pegues, the 6-foot-10 center who played for the Bowling Green Hornets this past 2014 season, officially signed his rookie contract to play in Slovakia, beginning next month. After entertaining interest from clubs across Europe, Pegues chose Slovakia because of its stability, reputation, and opportunity for growth.

Pegues, who played for NCAA Division-I Western Kentucky University from 2006-2008 and graduated from Campbellsville University in 2014, averaged nearly 8.5 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game, and nearly 1.5 blocks per game in his senior year with Campbellsville. After signing with the Bowling Green Hornets in April, Pegues put on a great performance in his debut versus Fort Wayne, registering a league-high four blocks in the game.

With this signing, the Central Basketball Association have now helped seven players reach their dreams to play on the international level. As stated in an article published last week, the CBA has had a history of developing legitimate player profiles, utilizing business connections, and helping its players achieve their dreams by obtaining opportunities to play overseas. Below are the list of players over the last ten months that have signed international contracts after playing for their respective CBA teams, including today's news regarding Pegues.
