After winning Most Valuable Player honors in the Eurobasket combine in Atlanta in October, Fort Wayne Flite's Ronald Lucas III, followed it up by putting on another strong performance in Eurobasket's Indianapolis combine earlier this month.

His hard work within combines in the aforementioned two cities, as well as the Toronto area this past summer, paid off as he was selected on the Eurobasket-sponsored Australian tour in January and February. Lucas III will join fourteen other players selected from the combines and will specifically participate in competition in the South East Australia Basketball League (SEABL).

The SEABL is considered the strongest conference in the Australian Basketball Association (ABA), which is the second top league in Australia behind the National Basketball League of Australia (NBL). Other top conferences in the ABA include the Big V and Queensland.

Lucas III (Columbus State CC) averaged 6.9 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 1.5 steals per game in eight regular season games with the Fort Wayne Flite this past season.
