In the Central Basketball Association's five-year history, no player had ever scored greater than 20 points and grabbed more than 20 rebounds in the same game.

This weekend, Baltimore's Torey Fassett became the first player in league history to put his name within that lucrative statistical category, as the 6-foot-6 forward posted a 26-point, 22-rebound performance against Bowling Green last Sunday.

He nearly broke the league's total rebounding record, falling one rebound short of tying Middle Tennessee's Roy McFadgon's 23-rebound performance last year against Bowling Green.

Fassett, who played collegiate basketball at Saint Mary's University in Canada, nearly pulled off a triple-double the night before, as he had 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 steals against Indianapolis.

Currently, through three weeks of the season, Fassett leads the league in steals per game (4.0), tied in the lead in rebounds per game (11.5), and seventh in the league in points per game (18.8).
