It is often stated in sporting events that elite players always pull through in the clutch when they are needed the most. Mississippi, losers of three straight, were looking at elimination straight in the eye last weekend; however, former Southeast Missouri State product, Anthony Jones, knew he needed to put his team on his back. And did he ever.

In 170 regular season and postseason games in CBA history, there has never been a triple-double. Yet, on the last weekend of the 2017 regular season, the 6-foot-4 Jones went for the record books with the first triple-double in the league's five-year history. 20 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, en route to not only giving his team the win, but handing Mississippi the improbable fourth seed in the playoffs this weekend.
