Middle Tennessee Storm

Regular Season 2013

The Middle Tennessee Storm, hailing from the Music City: Nashville, Tennessee, completed their first season with a 4-3 record, barely missing out on a spot in the title game due to tie-breaker procedures. Despite their finish to the season, the Storm solidified their place in the league as a contending force with a 4-0 start to the season, and still holding the record for most consecutive wins in a season.

The team is led by many locally-prominent athletes, including Michael France, who starred at Trebecca Nazerene University in Nashville, as well as playing internationally in Kuwait; and by Demarco Polk, who was a former Mr. Basketball in Tennessee, and was voted as the 2013 league Most Valuable Player, scoring a league-record thirty points or more in three consecutive league games.

The Storm also boasted three league All-Star selections last season, including Demarco Polk as a 1st-team All-Star, and Myles Thrash & Fred Hill, as 2nd-team All-Stars. The Storm look to build upon their organizational success in the 2014 season, and seek a shot at the Championship game; an opportunity that slipped through their fingers in the 2013 season.
