St. Louis Hawks

Regular Season 2013

The St. Louis Hawks, as 2013 League Champions, put together an impressive 6-2 season record last season en route to their first title. Each team may have had rosters comprising of former college stars and international-playing athletes, but the Hawks strength was in their coaching. Floyd Irons, head coach for the Hawks, has a resume unmatched by any of the other coaches: he won 10 State Championships in Missouri in his 33 years of coaching Boy's Varsity High School Basketball, including 802 career victories, as well as producing NBA Player, Anthony Bonner, who was selected in the 1st Round of the 1990 NBA Draft.

Irons' coaching experience led not only to a Championship title last season, but he also received unanimous Coach of the Year honors. Also aiding Irons, were two All-Star players on his roster: Alex Jackson made the 1st-team All-Star squad and Corey Hill making the 2nd-team All-Star squad. Adding more to Irons' legend was helping Jackson having such a successful season, that it helped him be selected in the 3rd Round of the NBL-Canada Draft this past offseason.

The Hawks will go into the 2014 season as one of the favorites to win the Championship, as they look to defend their title from last season.
