FORT WAYNE 105, SPRINGFIELD 92: (Springfield, Ill.) - Although a first-round bye had been wrapped up, Fort Wayne wanted to finish the regular season with a win on the road and a top-overall seed in the postseason. Mission accomplished. After trailing Springfield by as many as nine points early in the contest, Fort Wayne regained the lead in the final seconds of the first quarter and never looked back. The visitors held as high as a 16-point advantage in the second half, before posting their seventh double-digit victory of the season, and becoming the first team in league history to finish the regular season with an undefeated record. Fort Wayne (8-0) were led by Greg Foster (33 points) and Antonio Cannon (17 points). Springfield (2-6), who lost six straight games to finish the season after winning the first two games of the season, were led by Terrance Davis (25 points) and Michael Chandler-Dorsey (24 points). Fort Wayne receives a first round-bye in next week's playoffs and will play in the semifinals against a to-be-determined opponent in Indianapolis next Sunday afternoon.

INDIANAPOLIS 134, PEORIA 87: (Indianapolis, Ind.) - Last weekend, Indianapolis scored a team-record 113 points in their 20-point victory against Springfield. Tonight, they smashed both records with an even more impressive victory at home versus an opponent from Illinois. Leading by as many as 59 points in the game, Indianapolis crushed Peoria both offensively and defensively, ultimately resulting in the third largest margin-of-victory in league history. Indianapolis (4-3), who are above .500 for the first time this season, were led by Anthony White (35 points) and Chrishawn Hopkins (16 points). Peoria (1-7), which only won one game during a regular season for the fourth consecutive year, were led by Ryan Stadel (26 points) and Jason Angel (15 points). Indianapolis travels to Columbus tomorrow afternoon, where the winner will clinch the second seed in the North Division.

MEMPHIS 90, MISSISSIPPI 74: (Memphis, Tenn.) - Needing a victory to officially clinch a playoff spot, things did not look good at one point in the game, as Memphis blew an early 13-point lead. But a 16-0 run in the second half, and at one point leading the game by as many as 20 points, Memphis cruised to their third victory over Mississippi in four games in this season. Memphis (3-4), who earned the third spot in the South Division, was led by Myron Strong (20 points) and Bobby Jones (18 points). Mississippi (1-7), who completed a disappointing season after high expectations, was led by Anthony Jones with 19 points. Memphis plays Middle Tennessee tomorrow afternoon, in a game that may be meaningless in the standings, but may give an opportunity for both teams to give their benches significant playing time in preparation of next week's playoffs.

MIDDLE TENNESSEE 105, BOWLING GREEN 92: (Nashville, Tenn.) - A win tonight would not only give the season series advantage to Middle Tennessee over last year's defending champions, Bowling Green, but it would also give the hosts the South Division title and a first round bye. After a first quarter that featured 12 lead changes and 7 ties, Middle Tennessee slowly pulled ahead and never looked back. Although Bowling Green cut the deficit to as little as three points at the end of the third quarter, after Middle Tennessee had taken a double-digit advantage, the hosts never lost their grip of the contest and took over in the final period to win the South Division title. Middle Tennessee (6-1), who will advance to the league semifinals for the third straight season, were led by Myles Thrash with 22 points, and Joshua Sain and Roy McFadgon with 21 points each. Bowling Green (5-3), who had their seven-game road winning streak ended this evening, were led by Fred Sturdivant (25 points) and Teraes Clemmons (15 points). Middle Tennessee will play next Sunday against a to-be-determined opponent in the league semifinals, while Bowling Green will play in the opening round next Saturday.
