After first undefeated season in CBA history, Fort Wayne's Rod Wilmont named 2016 Coach of the Year

- Compiled 8-0 regular season record, posting the first undefeated regular season in the CBA's four-year history. 

- North Division Champions; top-overall seed in the postseason.

- Earned second consecutive appearance in the CBA title game.

- Became winningest coach in CBA history (21-9 career record in three seasons as head coach with Fort Wayne).

- 9-game active winning streak, including post-season, is the most number of consecutive victories in CBA history.

- 2nd-best defensive team in the CBA this season, allowing 89.5 points per game. 

- Best team in the CBA this season in opponent field goal shooting percentage (39.5%)

- 2nd-best team in the CBA this season in opponent free throwing shooting percentage (63.3%)

- 2nd-best team in the CBA this season in opponent 3-point shooting percentage (27.5%)

- 2nd-best in the CBA this season in team steals, averaging 10.4 steals per game.

- Best team in the CBA this season in team blocks, averaging 5.2 blocks per game.

- Best offensive team in the CBA this season, averaging 103.6 points per game. 

- Best team field-goal shooting percentage in the CBA this season (48.4%).

- Best team free-throw shooting percentage in the CBA this season (70.7%).

- Best team 3-point shooting percentage in the CBA this season (38.3%). 

- Has won 10 consecutive regular season home games, with the last defeat coming over two years ago in April 2014. 

- Only coach in CBA history to lead team to two consecutive undefeated regular season records at home (4-0 in 2016, 4-0 in 2015).
