The Central Basketball Association continues to forge new relationships and partnerships with corporate entities in an effort to not only expand its brand and influence, but further bring publicity and attention to local member teams and the players affiliated with the CBA.

Beginning this upcoming season, Southwest Airlines will become the official domestic travel partner of the CBA, as member teams will utilize the airline during air travel between games. In 2017, Baltimore will travel to Indianapolis using Southwest Airlines during their away games versus Illinois and Fort Wayne; Middle Tennessee will travel using Southwest Airlines to Baltimore to square off against Baltimore and Washington; and Fort Wayne will travel to Washington, D.C. to battle against Baltimore and Washington, as well.

Through discounted wholesale pricing, flexible scheduling, priority service, and complimentary checked baggage, there are many benefits for the league and its member teams, as it provides a convenient opportunity to travel across the nation to participate in competition. There are also added benefits to players as well, including the fact that each league player who travels on Southwest Airlines during the league season, will receive Southwest Rapid Reward Points, allowing them the opportunity to earn free flights for future personal travel.

As the league continues to expand across various portions of the United States over the coming years, the expectation is that it will provide further opportunities for the league to predominantly shift to air travel between games during future seasons.

With the addition of the aforementioned corporate sponsors, players who participate in the upcoming season will have the opportunity to reap the benefits of these relationships through the 2017 CBA Player Registration

By registering with the CBA, via http://www.playcba.com/registration, either as a player who has made the final roster of a CBA member team, or as a prospective player wanting to take advantage of the league's benefits, players will potentially not only receive the opportunity to earn free Southwest Reward Points, free Hilton Honors Reward Points, and free Under Armour apparel and products, but also the opportunity to participate in elite league competition, receive critical game film, and obtain detailed individual statistics.

Furthermore, registered players will also have the opportunity to travel overseas for a private tryout in Canada, Mexico, Europe, or South America, as well as have the option of having a free attorneys representing them in the negotiation and drafting of international basketball contracts.

With the league season set to begin in nearly 5 weeks, it is critical for players, who are looking to advance their basketball careers, to take advantage of the unprecedented growth, structure, and benefits of the CBA.
