INDIANAPOLIS 105, ILLINOIS 90: (Indianapolis, Ind.) - One night after an emotional victory at home, to earn their first-ever win in the CBA, Illinois could not carry the momentum on the road this evening. Indianapolis jumped out to an early 11-2 lead to start the contest, and they eventually cruised to a comfortable double-digit victory against their cross-state rivals. Indianapolis (2-1) was led by Chrishawn Hopkins (27 points) and Anthony White, Jr. (17 points), while Illinois (1-2), who suffered their second consecutive loss by double-digits, were led by former NBA D-League guard, Tyron Criswell with 36 points. Indianapolis, who sits in second place in the league, will host Baltimore next Saturday, while Illinois hosts Indianapolis in two weeks.

FORT WAYNE 103, BALTIMORE 92: (Fort Wayne, Ind.) - In a game between a team who won the championship last year, made it to the title game two years ago, and has not lost a home game since 2014, and a team in their first season in the CBA, the odds were in the favor with Fort Wayne, rather than Baltimore. But it was the expansion team, Baltimore, that dominated Fort Wayne for the first three quarters, holding the hosts to just 13 points in the first quarter and 32 points in the first half - the lowest point total for Fort Wayne in the first period since they scored 13 points two years ago on April 18, 2015 at Middle Tennessee, and the lowest point total at the half for Fort Wayne in their organization history. However, despite trailing by double-digits early in the second half, Fort Wayne showed their resilience and scoring prowess in the final period, going on a 23-11 run in the final six minutes game to win their 12th consecutive home game. Fort Wayne (2-0) was led by Ronald Lucas III (26 points) and former league MVP, Antonio Cannon (23 points), while Baltimore (0-2) was led by Jermaine Bolden (23 points). In a rematch of the 2016 title game, Fort Wayne hosts Middle Tennessee next Sunday, while Baltimore heads on their second road trip of the season next week against Indianapolis and Bowling Green.

MISSISSIPPI 84, MIDDLE TENNESSEE 78: (Memphis, Tenn.) - Last year, Mississippi won only one game the entire season, and was projected to miss the postseason tournament this year. But head coach, Jeremy McKinnie, has brought an improved culture to the Mississippi organization in 2017, as despite seeing their double-digit lead evaporate in the second half, and convert itself to a seven-point deficit, Mississippi outscored Middle Tennessee by 13 points in the final minutes of the game to earn their second victory of the season. One week after scoring the most points in the league this season (119), Middle Tennessee followed it up with the lowest point total in the league for the season (78). Marico Stinson (15 points) led Mississippi (2-1) for a second consecutive contest, while Roy McFadgon and Joshua Sain each had 21 points for Middle Tennessee (1-1). Both teams square off against each other again tomorrow afternoon in Nashville.
