For Middle Tennessee's Roy McFadgon, there must be something magical in the air when he plays in Russellville, Kentucky against the Bowling Green Hornets, and further, even more special when that game happens to be on the final day of April.

On April 30, 2016, the 6-foot-6 forward set both the new league rebounding record and blocked shots record against Bowling Green, after grabbing 23 rebounds and blocking eight shots in the matchup. His overall stat line for that afternoon: 17 points, 23 rebounds (11 off, 12 def), 2 assists, 1 steal, and 8 blocks.

Fast forward exactly one year later and McFadgon put on an equally impressive display of talent on April 30, 2017, as he shattered his own rebounding mark that he set the year prior by grabbing 27 rebounds, of which 16 rebounds were on the offensive glass. His overall stat line for the afternoon was similar to last year's performance: 18 points, 27 rebounds (16 off, 11 def), 2 assists, 3 steals, and 4 blocks.

Although his team suffered a lopsided defeat this year in Kentucky, as opposed to last year's double-digit rally in the fourth quarter and overtime, McFadgon's individual performance allowed him to lead the pack of top performers from the second-to-last weekend of the 2017 regular season.
