INDIANAPOLIS 125, ILLINOIS 116: (Indianapolis, Ind.) - After having their home opener last weekend postponed due to a rare Spring snow storm in the region, Indianapolis looked to start their title run on a positive note at home tonight against Illinois. The first half; however, was much more competitive than the hosts had anticipated, as the game featured 16 lead changes and eight ties through the first two quarters. The second half, though, was where the game featured the most entertainment and intrigue. After five lead changes to start the third quarter, Illinois went on 26-11 run en route to a double-digit lead heading into the final period. But a premature celebration was intact for the visitors, as last year's runners-up, Indianapolis, jumped out the gates in the final period, going on a 18-2 run to start the quarter, followed by a 11-1 run late in the frame to stun Illinois with a nine-point come-from-behind victory. Indianapolis was led by Anthony White with 34 points, while Illinois was led by Matt Neaville with 32 points. Indianapolis (1-0) travels to Baltimore next Saturday night, while Illinois (1-2) hosts Fort Wayne on Friday night.

FORT WAYNE 120, BALTIMORE 100: (Fort Wayne, Ind.) - Last year, when Baltimore traveled to Fort Wayne for their first ever matchup, it took a late Fort Wayne double-digit rally to escape with a home win. This year; however, the back-to-back defending champions did not want to go through the same stressful experience again. After a competitive first half featuring 12 lead changes and five ties, Fort Wayne erupted in the third quarter, with 44 points in the period, leading by as many as 28 points, en route to a comfortable victory over Baltimore. Last week, Fort Wayne also used a suffocating third period, where they scored 40 points against Illinois, outscoring them by 31 points in the quarter. Tonight's win by Fort Wayne was their 16th consecutive regular season win since their inaugural season, with their last loss in the regular season back on April 12, 2014 against Middle Tennessee. For Baltimore, tonight's defeat leaves them winless in six attempts on the road, dating back to their first year in the league last season. Fort Wayne was led by Terrance Beasley with 25 points and Trevor Lucas with 18 points, while Baltimore was led by Antonio Wright with 23 points and Terry Hosley with 22 points. Fort Wayne (2-0) travels to Illinois on Friday evening, while Baltimore (0-3) returns home to face Indianapolis on Saturday evening.
