Four years ago, Anthony White, Jr. led a comeback victory for 14-seed Mercer University over 3-seed Duke University in the first round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. Fast forward to Saturday evening, and White, Jr. led another comeback victory as Indianapolis overcame a double-digit deficit in the final quarter to stun Illinois.

White, Jr. scored a league-high 34 points in the game, which included shooting 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 10-for-10 from the charity stripe, while also adding three steals on the defensive side. After scoring 33 points in the 2017 CBA Championship game against Fort Wayne, and averaging 28.1 points per game in the 2016 CBA regular season, White, Jr. is off to a great scoring start for the 2018 CBA season.
