Knowing that Bowling Green had lost to Middle Tennessee earlier in the afternoon, and needing a win to clinch a playoff berth as the 4-seed in the 2018 CBA Postseason Tournament, Memphis' Dontarion Wright put the team on his back and led them to a double-digit victory over Jackson last Sunday afternoon - earning Memphis its first playoff appearance since the 2016 season. 

As the team's premier shooting guard, the 6-foot-3 Wright scored the second-most points in a league game this season with 38 points, to go along with 12 rebounds, 4 steals, and a blocked shot, earning him the top honors for Week Six of the 2018 CBA Season.

Wright, who previously played internationally in the Philippines, scored in double-digits in all eight games this season for Memphis, and posted his third double-double of the year in the season finale. Furthermore, as a result of his shooting performance, Wright finished the regular season in the pole position for total points (201) and points per game (25.1), but most importantly, gave his team an opportunity to earn their first league championship this weekend as Memphis faces the top-seed Indianapolis.

The 2018 CBA Postseason Tournament will occur this weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The first semifinal game on Saturday evening will feature 1-seed Indianapolis vs. 4-seed Memphis. The second semifinal game will be between 2-seed Middle Tennessee and 3-seed Fort Wayne. The winners will compete in the championship game on Sunday afternoon.
